Camp Manager, Luxury Tented Camp

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Camp Manager to oversee the daily operations of our luxury tented camp. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring excellent guest relations, strong organizational skills, and a genuine passion for delivering world-class safari experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of all camp operations, including front of house, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and guiding teams.
• Ensure guests receive a seamless, personalized 5-star safari experience.
• Manage and motivate staff, fostering a culture of excellence, service, and teamwork.
• Financial and administrative management, including stock control, budgets, and reporting.
• Uphold company standards for sustainability, conservation, and community engagement.
• Maintain the highest levels of camp presentation and safety.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• Previous management experience in a luxury lodge or tented camp (essential).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional guest service orientation with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of hospitality operations, staff training, and HR basics.
• Financial acumen (budgeting, reporting, procurement).
• Valid driver’s license; FGASA or guiding knowledge beneficial.
• Couples with complementary skills (FOH/F&B + Maintenance/Guiding) will also be considered.
