SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Capacity Building Mentor for a 2-year contract based in East London, Eastern Cape.
POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Honors Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Education, HR or relevant
- 5+ years’ experience as a Training Manager, with proven facilitator, moderator & assessor exp
- Facilitator, Moderator or SDF certificate
- Track record in designing and executing training programs and with traditional / modern methods
- Experience developing training material for accreditation
- Expertise in the area of HIV/AIDS programs
- Valid drivers and willing to travel extensively
- Public speaking skill and good communication ability
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:- Determine training objectives and conduct annual training
- Oversee development of WSP and ATR
- Claiming of levy from Seta and apply for learnerships and skills programmes
- Develop training material and attend training planning meetings
- Manage development of technical training programs
- Monitor training results and ensure adherence to training system
- Input into developing training budget, draw up training & development plan
- Deploy training methods and effective staff induction / orientation sessions
- Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure training targets are achieved
