SUMMARY:
Live-In Careworker (2 Weeks On/2 Weeks Off Rotation)
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Careworker to provide dedicated support and companionship to an individual requiring daily assistance. This is a live-in role for two weeks at a time, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.

POSITION INFO:
Role: Care Worker
Location: Hermanus, Overstrand, Western Cape
Salary: TBC

What you’ll do:

Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support safe mobility around the home and during outings.
Assist with meals – from preparation to feeding when needed.
Offer companionship, conversation, and social engagement to reduce loneliness.
Monitor and report any changes in physical, emotional, or mental health.
Assist with medication management under supervision.
Accompany and support clients with medical appointments and follow-ups.

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Previous care experience with verifiable references.
Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy.
Able to commit to a two-week live-in schedule.
