Cash Flow Controller
Location: Remote (with site visits as needed)
Type: Permanent | Cash Oversight & Bookkeeping

This is a vital operational role for a reliable, experienced professional who understands the real value of cash — both theoretical and actual. If you’re organised, analytical, and confident managing multi-site cash flows, this is a perfect opportunity to bring rigour to a growing retail network.

About the Role

You’ll take ownership of daily cash flow oversight for a network of 10 retail shops. You’ll compare system-reported sales against actual point-of-sale cash received, track variances, and ensure controls are in place. This is a remote-first role, with regular store visits to audit and verify cash handling procedures.

What You’ll Do

Monitor theoretical vs actual daily cash sales across 10 stores
Maintain and manage centralised Excel-based cash tracking systems
Visit shops to physically check and reconcile cash handling (AA rates refunded)
Identify variances and raise issues for investigation
Work closely with the Financial Manager on reconciliations and reporting
Manage overall monthly cash flow oversight across all sites
Suggest and implement improved cash control processes

What You Bring

Strong cash handling and reconciliation experience
Basic bookkeeping skills and advanced Excel ability
Understanding of POS systems and theoretical vs physical cash flows
Comfortable working remotely and doing regular store visits
A dependable, trustworthy attitude with attention to detail
Bonus: experience in cash-heavy environments (slots, gaming, retail, etc.)
