POSITION INFO:
Cash Processing Centre (CPC) Manager Location: Westville, Durban IZI South Africa , a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, is looking for an experienced and results-driven Cash Processing Centre (CPC) Manager to join our team in Westville, Durban . About the Role The CPC Manager will be responsible for the effective management of Cash Processing Centre operations, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, strong people management, excellent customer service, effective risk management, and improved profitability. Key Responsibilities Cash Processing Centre Operations Manage the day-to-day operations of the Cash Processing Centre. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, contractual obligations, and relevant legislation. Oversee reconciliations and authorisation of EFT payments. Ensure employees have the appropriate tools and equipment to perform their duties effectively. Monitor operational performance and provide accurate reporting. Ensure compliance with SARB requirements, Health and Safety standards, security, HR, finance, and risk procedures. People Management Lead, manage, motivate, and develop CPC employees. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective workforce planning. Manage budgets, wages, overheads, and operational costs. Identify training and development needs and support succession planning. Conduct regular staff meetings and manage employee performance. Address disciplinary matters appropriately and maintain constructive employee and trade union relationships. Promote high standards of professionalism, accountability, and housekeeping. Customer Relationship Management Maintain high levels of customer service and retention. Ensure adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints effectively. Risk and Compliance Monitor and implement measures to prevent and reduce operational losses. Ensure employees adhere to cash processing, security, and risk procedures. Maintain accurate audit records and effectively utilise company systems. Health and Safety Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures. Report, investigate, and follow up on safety-related incidents. Participate in safety programmes and communicate relevant safety information to employees. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Grade 12 A tertiary qualification in Banking, Financial Services, General Management, or a related field is preferred. Valid driver's licence. Experience and Knowledge Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience . Sound knowledge of Cash Centre policies and procedures. Knowledge of relevant SARB requirements and legislation. Understanding of HR policies and procedures and Health and Safety legislation. Sound understanding of financial information and operational cost management. Skills and Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate MS Office skills, particularly Excel . Strong reporting and analytical skills. Leadership and people-management ability. Ability to manage complex operational environments. Customer-focused approach. Ability to drive change and execute business strategy. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Professional, accountable, and results-driven approach.
