JOB SUMMARY:
Manufacturing company in Lenasia has a vacancy for a Cashbook Clerk / Senior Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary duties:

Senior Controller:
Attend daily finance meeting and present applicable reports
Following up daily with customers for outstanding payments
Reconciling customers’ accounts
Invoicing (Direct Invoices)
Price checks (Daily)
IML (invoicing and credits)
Credit notes
Credit notes report and tracker
Delivery notes book Checks (daily tracking to customer order, invoice and delivery note)
Filing
Responsible for all new customers, send new applications to Debtsource and open accounts once approved
Agreeing debtors statement with all customers by the 5th of each month to confirm payment by the customers within agreed payment terms
Daily reporting on customer accounts that are blocked or exceed limits
Daily reporting on export sales and tracking required export documents
Weekly review on Age Analysis and handling debtors’ queries
Sending out Final Demands
Processing Settlement Discounts
Contacting Customer over 60 Days for outstanding payments

Cashbook Clerk:
All Branches, Cash, EFT and Reallocations
Daily Cashbook Bank Statement processing – All Branches
Daily Petty Cash Processing -All Branches
Processing AR and AP payments to correct accounts
Analysing General Ledger for AP and AR Ageing
Bank reconciliations Petty Cash and FNB Bank
Processing and reconciling AP cash Payments

Education and Experience:
Matric
2+ years experience in a similar position
MS Excel - Advanced level
Pastel Partner
Pastel Evolution
Syspro
