SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in the Energy industry has an EE opportunity available for a Category Head: Fresh Perishables and Coffee in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

• NQF level 7 (Retail or Business related degree)
• 8 years Category buying management experience within the FMCG environment
• Travelling local and international

• Develop and Drive the Commercial strategy & manage key strategic supplier relationships by creating, delivering, capturing value and the development of the in-house coffee business
• Develop the in-house Brand Framework for Coffee and Fresh Private label Food solutions by regularly reviewing the ranges, driving innovative solutions, and preparing the customer acquisition and retention plan
• Stakeholder Management
• Develop a Category management Policy and Process including market insight, business partnering, negotiation, on-going supplier management and governance to manage all Convenience Food Procurement
• Develop the Convenience Category Management Capability including market insight, business partnering, negotiation, on-going supplier management and governance
• Trade planning
• Develop the Company’s capability to manage Food technology within the manufacturing and product development areas ensuring, quality, safety, and adherence to food legislature
• Financial Management
