JOB SUMMARY:
Join my client in the Mining industry, urgently looking for a Category Specialist for their Johannesburg branch to be a part of the shared services department coordinating the effective management of the supply of strategic mining equipmentâs, commodities, processing as well as capital projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Matric
BSc or BTech degree or equivalent degree in Supply Chain or Engineering
5-7 relevant supply chain experience in the mining industry - not negotiable
Must be proficient on ERP, Ariba experience is advantageous
Knowledge of developing sourcing strategies and execution of Tendering process

Job description

Manage and ensure effective execution of the tenders withing the prescribed policies
Stakeholder management and communication
Market analysis, contract management and value delivery
