Chartered accountant Financial Manager senior accountant CA(SA)

POSITION INFO:

A Multinational concern based in The north of Johannesburg in the Financial and IT industry seeks your expereince as a (EE)Financial Manager to join there Finance team

Must be a Qualified  Chartered Accountant with 5 - 10 Years post article experience from Ideally the BIG 4 Accounting Firms -

Must have have US GAAP experience and preferably from Financial Services 

Minumum Requirements :

• Chartered Accountant Essential - CA (SA) with accouniting Degree
• Experience from the Big 4 Accounting Firms would be key.
• Post articles  5-10 years working experience 
• US GAAP Experience essential
• (EE) Employment Equity Position
• Have  an excellent command of the english language,  strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be Fluent in spoken and written english 
• Strong attention to detail
• Self motivated 
• Work as a team and independently 

 This person is responsible for 

• Prepare and view US GAAP/IFRS Technical Memo’s.
  Monthly closing and reconciliations for US and European companies
  Prepare review/monthly packs for non-South African companies
  Prepare actual versus budget information and provide analysis
  Circulate weekly exchange rates
  Tie in annual / quarterly US GAAP financial statements and press releases
  Prepare and review US tax return schedules
  Record minutes of meetings
  Prepare payment requisitions and monitor payment process with bank
  Any other day to day duties expected of the Financial Manager
