Chef & Guest Host – 5-Star Guesthouse, Hermanus

Our client, a 5-star guesthouse in beautiful Hermanus, is looking for an experienced Chef who will not only handle the kitchen with confidence but also assist in welcoming and hosting guests when needed.

Role: Chef & Guest Host
Location: Hermanus, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary: TBC

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years of experience as a chef, ideally in a fine dining or boutique hospitality environment.
• A warm, outgoing personality, someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with people.
• A creative flair for presentation and an eye for detail.
• Willingness to assist with guest hosting and check-ins.
• Basic social media or marketing experience would be an advantage.

• Approximately 13h00 to 20h00 daily.
• Every second weekend off.
• Around 200 hours per month.
