Chemical Dosing Technician

SUMMARY:
Our client has a position available for a Chemical Dosing Technician to start as soon as possible.

POSITION INFO:
The candidate must have a technical and/or mechanical background/qualification and possesses a N1–N3 and/or N4–N6 certificate, focusing on the theory of fitting, turning, and machining. A mechanical aptitude will be a strong advantage.

Requirements:

• Strong basic technical and engineering abilities.
• Proven manufacturing skills, troubleshooting abilities and engineering knowledge.
• Demonstrate leadership through effective interaction and communication with clients, peers and members of supervisory and management levels.
• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in site installations, manufacturing & assembly.
• Valid and unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license.

• Good command of both English and Afrikaans.
• Detail orientated; reliable, self-disciplined, problem solving and technical report writing.
• Ability to perform unsupervised tasks and supervision of work units.
• Travel for work - In some cases the time duration could be anything for a week or 2.
• Have strength, stamina, and flexibility.
• Follow safety protocols – Safety knowledge is extremely crucial and practiced regularly.
• Own transport to & from work
