SUMMARY:
My Client, is seeking a Chemical/Process Metallurgist with Chemical experience which is highly skilled and capable. This person will be responsible to set up a new lab, so in dept knowledge of metal behavior and its alloys is essential.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

BTech Degree - Matalllurgy
8yrs experience.
Chemical analysis
Setting up and running a laboratory
Manufacturing experience
System development and implementation.
Adept in analytical and problem-solving

The following duties and responsibilities are a necessity:

Implementation of ISO 9001 QA system in the Foundry
Setting up and management of the laboratory.
Process planning and raw material categorisation and utilisation.
Process control
Monitor and control metallurgical properties of copper used in Foundry
Daily chemical analysis of the strength and performance of materials being processed
Verbal and written feedback to management of status
Root cause analysis of production failures
Preparing and presenting same
Good housekeeping
Adherence to all company and departmental specific safety protocols
