Chemist - Manufacturing Plant

SUMMARY:
Company based in Westmead KZN, is looking for a Chemist to join the team in their manufacturing plant.

POSITION INFO:
The overall scope of role is to assist the business with research and development of new products, while maintaining and enhancing existing products. To ensure that quality and efficiency in the production department is maintained.

The key responsibility of the role:

• Research and Development
• Quality Control
• Product Supervision
• Attend to equipment breakdowns
• Support engineering projects
• Maintenance Administration

• Tertiary Qualification – BSc or HND or equivalent Chemistry degree is essential
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Adhesive Industry or similar is essential
• Must have solvent and water based adhesive technology experience
