Chief Engineering Technical Officer, Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Agricultural Industry.

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a market leader in the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Agricultural Industry, is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a Chief Engineering Technical Officer for their Group.

MAIN PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE:

• To formulate, implement, establish, and lead the engineering and technical operational excellence strategy.
• To ensure the safety and efficiency of plant and machinery across the Group''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s multinational SSA agriculture businesses.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• At minimum a BEng, BSc Eng - Mechanical/Electrical qualification.
• At least 3-5 years at Executive Leadership/Senior Management level experience.
• Professional registration with GCoC (Government Certificate of Competence) is essential.
• At least 8-10 years as a Professional Engineer in a related discipline.
• At least 5+ years in Project Management within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Solidly grounded experience within a World Class Practices and Autonomous Maintenance environment will be a distinct advantage.
• Willingness to travel - locally & international.
• Proficient in the Portuguese language will be a distinct advantage.
