Chief Executive Officer

SUMMARY:
Our client operating in the financial services sector is seeking to appoint a CEO for the Group. You are the one that is in charge of the whole company, from the day-to-day stuff to the really big picture problems.

POSITION INFO:

You will be held accountable when things go right – but also when they go wrong. If you like variety and thrive on pressure and also have a mind for thinking strategically and financially, then this can be a fantastic job for you as every day can be different. You would need to develop new revenue opportunities and new markets (locally and internationally) and to strategise creatively and work collaboratively with the Shareholders to leverage the solid reputation currently enjoyed into new opportunities.

From an expertise and culture fit perspective, you will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Proven track record of performance in a business leadership role
• Insurance/Financial/BPO Services sector experience essential
• Strong preference for candidates from mid-size companies
• Understand how to formulate and execute business plans and strategies 
• Deep understanding of sales and how to deliver a healthy sales pipeline and originate and implement transaction/deal opportunities to grow revenues.
• Manage internal and external relationships to deepen the product offering and foster business growth
• Oversee the financial management of the business and make informed decisions (product pricing, resource allocation, procurement) to scale up profitably.
• Good understanding of service experience and the processes required
• Attend and present market leadership at conferences, meetings and industry events to build the brand and profile of the business
• Desire to work with and develop young people in a high-performance environment is important
• Strong focus on the implementation of entrepreneurial initiatives
• Experience implementing modern technology (with a pragmatic understanding of how technology can leverage a business)
• Highly numerate, analytical and commercially driven
