JOB SUMMARY:
A manufacturing concern in Cleveland, Johannesburg seeks a dynamic and no-nonsense CFO to form part of the executive team. The successful CFO will timely and accurately manage the full spectrum of a financial department’s responsibilities, processes, and legal compliance, amongst others.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:
B Com (Hons) plus articles or/and CA(SA) degree.
10 years of experience as a Financial Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Highly Computer literate (Excel, Word, MS Office, and Outlook)
SYSPRO experience is advantageous.
Must have knowledge of Legal requirements.
Must have skills in both Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting.
BBBEE Code - working knowledge would be advantageous.

Duties and responsibilities:
Manage the finance department employees.
Prepare financial and management reports.
Participate in strategic planning and execute strategic and operational plans.
Prepare annual budget and monthly profit forecasts.
Plan and manage cashflow and working capital.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders: shareholders, auditors, bankers and other professional service providers.
Review and approve purchase orders and expenses, authorize and release payments.
Prepare sales reports and focus on margin management.
Responsible for Insurance, banking facilities, IT systems, Tax Compliance, Payroll, Forex, Procurement.
Accurate and timely submission of deliverables
Do month to month Payables.
Salaries & Wages.
Cash and bank.
Month end accounts.
Reports.
Forecasts.
Year-end and annual audit.
BBBEE.
Annual budget.
Insurance.
Tax.
Forex/ price movements.
Procurement.
Syspro.
Meetings.
Staff and HR/IR.
Coaching/strategy sessions.
Stakeholder feedback.
Deadline driven.
