What will you do:

As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will:

Shape the Vision: Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies to position the destination as a premier sustainable choice.
Build the Brand: Enhance and oversee iconic brands that inspire local and global audiences.
Embrace Technology: Pioneer digital transformation using AI, VR/AR, and data analytics to revolutionise destination marketing.
Drive Visitor Growth: Expand reach through targeted campaigns, fostering loyalty and unforgettable travel experiences.
Champion Inclusivity: Ensure marketing strategies embrace diversity and universal access, making the destination welcoming for all travellers, including persons with disabilities.
Collaborate Widely: Partner with communities, businesses, and global organisations to create campaigns that reflect the rich heritage and future aspirations.

Minimum Requirements

10 years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
A background in tourism, destination marketing, or hospitality is highly desirable.
Expertise in building and monetising marketing strategies through partnerships and sponsorships.
Strong storytelling and communication abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
