SUMMARY:
The Chief Revenue Officer is responsible to select the right markets based on competitive position and isolate buyers to engage. He / she will ensure that offerings are competitive and positioned effectively and will identify optimal ways to access the market for each chosen market and customer segment. The role requires provision leadership, direction, and resources to the sales department and is accountable for the overall sales department performance, as well as alignment to the business’s strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Defining ideal buyers, select market segments and isolate audiences to engage using data-driven insights
  • Setting top-down goals and metrics based on both internal goals and external market opportunities in selected markets
  • Partnering with product teams to define differentiated offerings
  • Continuously developing and refining offer value propositions and differentiated positioning
  • Articulating solutions and products value differentiators
  • Defining go-to-market models across offers and segments to access buyers, customers, and influencers
  • Organizing revenue teams around buyer segments, accounts and decision making units
  • Managing a portfolio of programs to attract, engage and convert prospective customers.
  • Establishing and maintaining brand touchpoints – including websites, social channels and marketplace outposts – to engage buyers across segments
  • Integrating the revenue technology stack including marketing automation, salesforce automation/ CRM, digital channels (e.g. web and social), business intelligence, and customer data platform
  • Implementing predictable, repeatable, and scalable sales and marketing processes
  • Structuring and managing successful relationships with alliance and channel partner
  • Develop the sales strategy based on regional and global market research to generate business opportunities and prioritize target markets
  • Direct the analysis of sales and business development on a monthly basis
  • Supervise and participate in the company’s representation at key industry events and exhibitions across the globe
  • Provide leadership in identifying and developing new markets and customers to achieve business growth
  • Create, direct, and implement the company’s promotional programs to stimulate awareness and sales in particular market segments
  • Create a favorable brand image amongst prospective clients and employees
  • Ensure development, implementation and strategic management of innovative sales, marketing and brand campaigns and techniques
  • Work towards the development and sustenance of B2B relationships through brand building and partnerships
  • Develop, measure, and report on key metrics around the business including client acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, satisfaction, renewal rates and refine go to market activities as require
  • Develop the company’s overall branding, marketing and corporate communication strategies in line with the company’s business development objectives and market characteristics and trend

Required Educational Qualification & Relevant Experience
  • Master’s in Business Administration, preferably from a Premier Institute
  • 18- 22 years of Sales, Business Development and Marketing experience
  • Experience and Expertise in leadership, problem solving, and communication
