South African based Mining Firm is Offering an opportunity to a Chief Safety Officer Systems, Governance and Assurance with 8 years’ experience to be part of their prestigious team.
POSITION INFO:
The Chief Safety Officer Systems, Governance and Assurance is responsible for the design, planning, evaluation, coordination and sustaining of the Safety and Risk Control systems as well as ensuring legal compliance towards minimising pure risk, litigation and adverse publicity. You will report to the SHEQ Leader
Qualifications:
- Relevant B-Tech or Diploma in Safety or Risk Management
- COMSOC 1 and 2
- Operational Risk Management Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in the ER field (advantageous)
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Min 3 years experience in Safety/Risk/Standards administrative role
