SUMMARY:
Our manufacturing client based in the North West Province is seeking a Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (Csmo).
This person needs to have had experience within the FMCG sector, establishing relationships with retailers, wholesalers on a national level and working with buying groups including independents. Do you live in the Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom areas, or are you willing to relocate?
POSITION INFO:
Develop and implement a robust, forward-thinking Marketing and Sales Strategy and processes that deliver growth (manage a team of sales support staff, merchandisers on a national level).
Monitor the sales targets and performance of the sales team.
Strategize on related business opportunities to identify additional resources that would increase the company''s revenue and profitability. Makes sure that all salespeople meet their targets during a given period. Oversee all current marketing/sales expenditure and ensure ROI. Interact with internal stakeholders.
Effective performance management, in conducting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reviews
Involvement in national and regional accounts, frequent travel.
No less than 10-15 years working experience within FMCG and 5+ years exp at the required level
The package is with car allowance, cell, 50% company contribution to Provident fund
