SUMMARY:
A multi-discipline engineering consulting company offering professional services to the public and private sector and specializing in EPCM, Project Management and Town Planning, requires the full-time services of a Civil Draughts Person to join their offices in Springbok (Northern Cape) ASAP.
Contract to perm opportunity depending on individual performance and company culture fit.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
Form part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Modelling and draughting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Production of detailed CAD survey and detailed civil engineering design drawings at an advanced level
Occasional travel to project sites as may be required
Key Requirements:
- Draughting Diploma/Certificate or relevant qualification
- Minimum 5-10 years relevant verifiable practical experience in a design office/consulting firm environment in civil engineering infrastructure (earthworks, municipal services and bulk systems)
- Advanced computer and software skills with the following computer software programs:
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D (Essential)
- Autodesk Revit (Recommended)
- Model Maker Systems (Advantageous)
- Basic GIS knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, but also able to work independently and to meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license
- Medically fit and prepared to work on construction sites as may be required
- To be based or willing to relocate to Springbok
