JOB CONTEXT:

As a Civil Engineer specializing in substation building, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, contributing to vital infrastructure projects that power our communities. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design, plan, and oversee the construction of substations, ensuring they are built to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
You will work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include conducting site assessments, preparing detailed engineering reports, and managing project timelines and budgets.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and manage civil engineering aspects of substation construction projects.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to ensure optimal project execution.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and project plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to deliver high-quality results.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address project needs and updates.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in substation building projects.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Will be agreed based on qualifications, applicable banking experience and previous earnings.
