Job Description

A multi-discipline consulting engineering firm which offers professional services to the public and private sector is looking for a Civil Technician to join their dynamic team. The position is based in the Northern Cape and it's a 12-month contract position. INTERESTED? APPLY

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Requirements:

Minimum National Diploma in Civil Engineering
Minimum three (3) years of verifiable experience in the supervision of civil engineering infrastructure, and on-site quality control
Candidates with quality control experience in concrete structures, water pipelines and roads will have a preference
Good communication skills and must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
Candidates from Previous Disadvantage Groups will have a preference
Willing to relocate to Northern Cape

Key Responsibilities:

Form part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Daily Site Supervision and Quality Control of civil engineering infrastructure
Daily reporting to the Project Manager
Updating of project As-Build Documentation
Updating of Quality Control Documentation
Daily Liaison with Construction Supervisors
