SUMMARY:
This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong interest in advanced materials and sustainable infrastructure, offering exposure to innovative testing, analysis, and design research.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Participate in research projects focused on sustainable and high-performance structural materials
Conduct laboratory testing and performance assessments
Support development of new design methodologies based on research outcomes
Collaborate with academic, research, and industry partners
Prepare comprehensive technical and research reports

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in civil or structural engineering with materials exposure
Strong knowledge of structural material properties and behaviour
Experience in laboratory testing and data analysis
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a research-focused mindset

Qualification:

Master’s degree (MEng/MSc) in Structural Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering essential

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
