Civil Structural Engineer

SUMMARY:

Aleading mining house company is currently looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer for 12 months contract to be based in Lephalale.

POSITION INFO:

Main Purpose of the Role:
·         Provide technical support to Project Management and participate in project teams.
·         Stay abreast of technological advancements in relevant discipline.
·         Assist in technical evaluations for discipline for projects in various.
·         Ensure effective delivery of quality service.
·         Conduct detail design for civil/structural infrastructure including approval of drawings.
·         Construction complete documentation generated per discipline.
·         Construction executed in accordance with the commissioning sequence.
·         Development of mitigation plans and the implementation thereof to remove the risk
·         Follow the PEP chapter
Qualifications, Skills and Experience  :
·         BEng Civil Engineering or BTech Civil Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
·         Diploma Project Management (Recommended/Desirable)
·         Engineering Council of SA (PrEng or PrTech)
·         Relevant job-specific experience of which at least 2 years project experience.
·         5 years’ experience in mining.
