  The Role:

  We are looking for a Civil Supervisor for a contract position based in Richards Bay.

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering / relevant experience will be considered
  • Must be available immediately 
    
    

   

   

   

  Skills and Experience:
  • Must have the ability to plan works, manage interfaces between disciplines, manage subcontractors to achieve contractual targets
  • Ability to manage construction safety aspects
  • Ensure that civil design intent has been achieved during construction activities and reporting of defects to resident engineer
  • Ensuring that construction safety aspects are adhered to
  • Ensuring that quality requirements are achieved
  • Assist with detail shutdown planning and coordination
  • Managing interfaces with other disciplines during shutdown execution -night shift may be required
  • Concrete construction activities in an industrial environment experience
  • Supervisory of civil works in an industrial environment experience
