POSITION INFO:
Job Description:
- Design and modelling of water and waste water treatment plants
- Prepare tender documents and reports
- Design and model smart, efficient water and sewage systems — from specs to final drawings
- Dive into plant ops, run audits, troubleshoot issues, and boost performance
- Bring solid experience across mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
- Lead design stages, manage contracts, and keep clients in the loop from start to finish
Skills & Experience: - Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in process design/modelling for water and wastewater treatment plants
- Proven track record in water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, bulk water supply systems, pipeline conveyance, pump stations, and reticulation design.
- Strong design capabilities and advanced computer and analysis software skills with the following:
- EnviroSim BioWin / DHI WEST or similar wastewater process modelling software (Essential)
- HECRAS
- EPANET / PCSWMM
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Revit
- KYPIPE Surge analysis software
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
