Civil infrastructure Project Manager in the DRC

POSITION INFO:

Project Manager Civils - DRC 

Candidates must be located in the DRC

Candidate profile:

Senior Project Engineer/Site Agent/Project Manager/Construction Manager

Must-haves:

• Min. 10y construction site management experience on large scale multidisciplinary civils infrastructure works
• Confident ability to manage project HSE risk management, schedule, quality assurance change management, and cost performance
• Bilingual French/English (oral and written/reporting) required
• Confident ability to manage a small team of construction professionals including HSE and contracts administration coordinator.
• Confident ability to liaise with other internal teams functions to enable the project

Desirables:

• African site experience strongly preferred – ideally DRC
• BEng. degree qualified or equivalent or better preferred
• Min. 15 years experience preferred
• Management of site investigation works (geotechnical) highly regarded
• Hydropower highly regarded 

The current scope is:

• Site establishment (access/security...etc) by the main contractor. This may include some access roads and laydown areas TBD.
• Site investigations works, for which the main contractor will manage a number of subcontractors including:
• Bathymetry survey
• Topography survey (usually lidar)
• Geotechnical borehole survey
• Geophysical seismic and electrode surveys
