Commercial Claims Consultant with relevant insurance related qualifications and minimum 3 years’ commercial claims experience, required for a position with an FSP based in Cape Town City Bowl.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric essential
- FAIS compliance – NQF 4 Short Term Insurance credits
- RE5
- Minimum 3 years’ Commercial Claims experience essential
Responsibilities:
- Claims administration
- First notification of loss and obtain all relevant documentation
- Process claims and ensure all claims and recoveries are processed
- Appoint Assessors/Loss Adjusters
- Apply policy terms and conditions
- Update internal systems and records
- Update all stakeholders
- Claims validity and estimate value and administer mandated claims
- Liaise with Insurer re claims in excess of mandate
- Obtain quotes for products/services
- Claims settlements
- Recoveries and follow-ups
- Cancellations and underwriting processes
