Insurance Brokerage requires a Claims Technician to assist Management with claims administration and
general office duties.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Handling Personal lines and commercial claims as required:
Open claim files
Confirming cover is in place
Appointing of Assessors and Investigators
Validating claims
Negotiating settlements in the best interest of clients
Corresponding and communicating with suppliers, Clients and service providers, up to settlement stage
Working on a diary system

SKILLS & CRITERIA:
Minimum of 4 to 6 years claims experience both commercial and personal lines
Have a full understanding of an ability to negotiate settlements
Must have short term and commercial insurance qualification
RE5 and 150 FAIS Credits
