POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Client Banking Analyst to join a leading financial institution within the commercial and development banking sector in Bethlehem, Free State. This role will suit a professional with strong credit analysis and deal structuring expertise, coupled with the ability to support relationship managers in driving client growth and portfolio health.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Package and prepare credit submissions for approval.
- Conduct detailed financial modelling, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
- Support relationship managers in client onboarding, portfolio monitoring, and arrears management.
- Provide first-level quality assurance on transactions, policies, and compliance processes.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships.
Minimum Requirements & Experience
- Relevant three-year qualification (e.g., Credit, Risk Management, Business or Commercial Sciences, Investment Management).
- 3–5 years’ experience in credit analysis or lending within commercial/corporate banking.
- Strong relationship management skills in a client-facing environment (agriculture exposure advantageous).
- Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
