Client Liaison Officer – Camperdown, KZN

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Logistics Industry based in Camperdown, KZN is currently looking to employ a Client Liaison Officer.

They are a well-established logistics (car carrier) company with a national footprint and are inviting suitable candidates to join their dynamic team. They are calling on experienced Client Liason Officers to bring your skills to the forefront.

The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the actual vs. planned adherence of routes by making use of tracking software, pro-active communication to customers in terms of expected delivery times, resolving customer queries and driver interaction by serving as the intermediary between the client, planners and team leaders.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4.
• Tertiary education in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Project Management or related qualification.
• Experience in similar position.
• Sales experience.
• Vehicle and dealership knowledge will be an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Computer literate.
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft and relevant programs.

• Interfacing with clients to build and maintain relationships and rapport.
• Client engagement and consultation to define requirement and specifications, providing guidance on suitable service solutions.
• Engagement with Planners and Team Leaders to expedite client requirements.
• Preparation of relevant forms and documentation.
• Keeping track of ETA’s and planned vehicle movement and providing relevant and timeous client feedback.
• Assistance with inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Tending to client queries timeously as they arise.
• Proactively monitor client satisfaction through regular follow-ups.
• Draft client correspondence and status reports as required.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
