Clinical Nurse - Specialist

Are you a skilled and passionate nursing professional ready to take your clinical expertise to the next level? We're looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) with a strong background in Theatre to lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
As a CNS, you'll serve as a clinical leader and expert within your specialty—providing advanced care, mentoring staff, contributing to training initiatives, and playing a key role in quality improvement and research.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert-level care in a Theatre environment
• Act as a clinical resource to staff and learners
• Lead staff development and mentorship
• Drive quality improvement and implement best practices
• Contribute to research and evidence-based protocols
• Promote clinical governance and uphold national healthcare standards

• Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
• Registered Professional Nurse with SANC (or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification)
• 12-month post-basic qualification in Theatre nursing (essential)
• 2–5 years of Theatre experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, best practices & risk management
• Leadership, mentoring, and teaching experience
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development
• Ability to problem-solve and make critical clinical decisions in fast-paced environments
