Now Hiring: CLINICAL PHARMACIST - East Rand - Private Hospital Environment
Are you a clinically driven Pharmacist ready to step into a high-impact, patient-centered role?
A leading private hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to take ownership of clinical pharmacy services, drive antimicrobial stewardship, and elevate medication safety outcomes across the hospital.
Key Focus Areas:
-Lead and optimise clinical pharmacy services within a ward-based environment
-Drive antimicrobial stewardship programs and improve antibiotic utilisation
-Strengthen medication safety, pharmacovigilance, and therapeutic monitoring
-Develop and implement clinical protocols, policies, and guidelines
-Partner with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, microbiologists, and nursing staff
Minimum Requirements:
*B.Pharm + Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent)
*Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
*3–5 years’ experience in a Clinical Pharmacist role
*Proven experience in Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs
*Strong working knowledge of clinical trials and hospital pharmacy practice
This role focusses on strategic influence on patient outcomes and hospital standards.
