Key Responsibilities Carry out coded aluminium welding using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) processes Weld automotive components such as chassis parts, body panels, engine components, brackets, frames, and sub-assemblies Read and interpret engineering drawings, WPS, and welding symbols Prepare aluminium materials through cutting, cleaning, jigging, and fitting Ensure welds meet automotive quality standards and dimensional tolerances Conduct visual inspections and assist with NDT testing where required Maintain welding machines, jigs, fixtures, and tools Adhere strictly to OEM, ISO\/TS 16949 \/ IATF 16949 , and health & safety standards Complete production and quality documentation accurately Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams Minimum Requirements Certified \/ Coded Aluminium Welder (TIG and\/or MIG) Proven experience in the motor or automotive manufacturing industry Strong understanding of aluminium alloys used in automotive production Ability to work with tight tolerances and high-volume production Ability to read and interpret technical drawings High attention to detail and quality Preferred \/ Advantageous Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience Experience with robot-assisted or jig-based welding Trade Test \/ Red Seal Knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality systems Willingness to work shifts and overtime Key Competencies Precision workmanship Quality-focused mindset Problem-solving ability Team collaboration Strong safety awareness
