A start-up company is currently seeking a Collection Manager to join their finance team. As the Manager you need to ensure the most effective and profitable operation of the Credit Department.

As a Collection Manager you will responsible for the following:

Ensure that the outstanding balances on the debtors book is kept to the minimum and collections are maintained
Manage the staff responsible for collecting debt
Reduce bad debt
Implement and maintain policies and procedures applicable to the department
Provide regular reports relating to collections
Maintain an element of good customer service
Develop and maintain relationships with all stake holders in the business
Ensure staff are adequately equipped and skilled to perform tasks

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)

Credit Management certificate will be beneficial

Minumum of 5 years’ experience in management position

Management experience is preferred
