Collections agent/ Credit Controller

SUMMARY:
Are you a seasoned credit professional with a sharp eye for risk and a relentless drive for results?
We’re looking for an experienced Collections Agent / Credit Controller to join our team and take charge of a high-value consumer portfolio.
🚨 Key Requirements – Do You Have What It Takes?
✅ 5+ years’ experience in debt collection or credit control (non-home loan & non-vehicle finance)
Diploma or Degree in Finance
✅ Proven success managing a book value of R10 Million+
✅ Extensive experience collecting from individuals (B2C)
✅ Track record of reducing bad debt, improving collections rates, and hitting monthly targets
✅ Excellent negotiation and communication skills
✅ Strong administrative and reporting ability, with solid knowledge of credit regulations and consumer protection laws

• Manage and recover overdue accounts across a diverse B2C portfolio
• Implement effective collection strategies that maximize recoveries
• Liaise with customers to arrange and follow up on payment plans
• Maintain accurate records and prepare monthly performance reports
• Work closely with finance and legal teams on escalated or legal accounts
• Contribute to improving credit and collections processes
