Colour Mixer - Automotive and Industrial Coatings

SUMMARY:
A well-known Automotive and Industrial Paint, Abrasive and Equipment Company requires the above to handle all accurate paint colour matching within the Branch.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Minimum grade 12 and previous experience having worked as a Colour Mixer within the Paints and Coating industry is essential.
• Previous knowledge of various paint products within the Automotive and Industrial Coatings industry would be advantageous.
• Must be computer literate.
• The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills linked to high customer service standards.
• Must be able to prioritise orders – plan and organise accordingly.
• Must be pro-active with good problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assist with accurate and prompt colour matching and effectively manage the mixing of orders.
• Ensure the maintenance of all mixing equipment as well as the accurate record keeping of all orders.
• Ensure that good housekeeping standards and 5s are implemented.
• Assist with stock management including the rotation of stock, stock takes and over mixes.
