JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a fruit export company in Paarl is looking for a Commercial Sales Assistant to join their team.

The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to the commercial and sales managers in the company''s exotic fruit, vegetable, and edible flower ranges. The candidates core focus will be key account liaison with the suppliers, growing edible flowers/microgreens and provide support with development and commercial aspects. Attention to detail is of utmost importance in this role. This is a fast-moving consumer product environment and the successful candidate needs to keep up with the pace and trends.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Key account management for edible flowers, microgreens
Admin tasks – ensure order process is ready for export
Shipping and logistics
Sales tracking and execution
Liaison with customers re. orders and follow-up
Capturing and communication of order and sales performance tracking documents
Complete customer documentation for uploading onto system for alignment
Feedback of customer details to be reported to Manager
Internal information gathering and reporting

REQUIREMENTS

Matric plus applicable tertiary qualification in Agriculture or commerce
2-3 years’ experience in related field
Shipping and logistics experience
Experience in ERP software programmes such as MS Navision
Time management, planning and coordinating.
Problem solving and analytical thinking.
Attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Passionate about food.
Willingness to learn

SALARY

R20 000 – R25 000
