SUMMARY:
A leading digital technologies company is looking for a Commercial Business Analyst to join their team. The main purpose of this role is for the analyst to serve as the link between business/finance, sales and systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Commercial Business Analyst must possess a combination of technical data skills, interpersonal relationship-building skills and business development capabilities. The candidate must be a self-starter, innovative and a problem-solver/solution finder. The individual will be responsible for developing data-driven sales and marketing strategies working in close conjunction with the sales and product teams, using your understanding of data to assist those who may not have the expertise in this domain and accelerate company growth. This requires an individual who is flexible, entrepreneurial and forward-thinking.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Relevant Business/Economics/Quantitative degree
• Sales/entrepreneurial experience in an IT environment – advantageous
• Data and analytical experience
• PowerBI/Advanced excel

DUTIES:

• Data modeling, mining and analysis
• Use your understanding of data to drive product sales
• Define and maintain product objectives, data roadmaps and key results that yield business value
• Development of data products to assist and support all areas of business
• Pinpoint and test opportunities to utilize data for other products/markets
• Processing large amounts of data from various data sources
