SUMMARY:
Our client in the insurance industry is urgently looking for an experienced Claims Negotiator to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Location: Durban, KZN

Job description: To provide support to the Commercial team with regards to processing claims from registration until finalisation according to specified claims procedures.

Requirements:

Matric
5 years of experience in Short-Term Insurance Commercial/Corporate Claims and/or Internal Broking
RE5 Representatives
FETC Level 4 FAIS Qualification
Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance
Own vehicle and valid driver''s license
Experience in a brokerage is required

Responsibilities:

Claims registration and administration
Register claims according to set standards and ensure the appointment of Assessors
Liaise with insurers and clients throughout the process
Negotiate settlements with Insurers on behalf of a client
Prepare releases and payment requisitions
Maintain an effective diary management system
Keep the claims system updated
Generate all relevant reports and stats for the monthly claims meetings
Manage suppliers in terms of SLA’s (if applicable)
Build and manage relationships with stakeholders (Insurers, suppliers, clients, Accounts Executives, etc)
Conduct client/insurer visits as per set standard
Keep stakeholders abreast of developments
Maintain open communication with Accounts Executives on all relevant customer information
Identify cross and up-selling opportunities and provide leads to relevant parties within the customer services department
Ensure the provision of service to all corporate clients
Attend to customer queries timeously
