SUMMARY:
We have a position available for a Commercial Manager with citrus and/or grapes experience. You will be responsible for overseeing shipping and air freight logistics. Candidates from Gauteng or Limpopo will be considered for a hybrid role.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Relevant Degree Proven experience in the fresh produce industry is essential. Experience with shipping and air freight is necessary. Strong knowledge of citrus and grape export processes. Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with Pastel, Palbroker, QX, and Sage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the unloading and composition of shipping freight, specifically citrus and grapes. Coordinate with producers, transport companies, and export logistics providers. Ensure efficient and timely delivery of fresh produce. Maintain strong relationships with producers, clients, and other stakeholders. Oversee all aspects of the export process, including documentation, compliance, and customs procedures. Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
