Commercial Manager

SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager at a dynamic telecommunications company. This is a strategic and commercially focused opportunity for a CA(SA) with strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving business growth. In this role, you will act as a key business partner to senior leadership, ensuring commercial viability, profitability, and effective financial decision-making across the organisation.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead commercial strategies in collaboration with sales, operations, and executive leadership
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to enable financial sustainability and strategic growth
• Negotiate, review, and manage high-value commercial contracts to ensure alignment with financial and legal requirements
• Prepare financial models for new business initiatives, projects, and investment opportunities
• Perform financial and commercial risk analyses for key decisions and proposals
• Monitor revenue performance and manage cost control initiatives to improve profitability

• CA(SA) qualification is essential
• Minimum of 5 years commercial exposure in a similar role
• Experience with financial/commercial modelling
• Skills:
   – Strong business partnering capability, influencing skills, and commercial mindset
   – Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
   – Ability to operate strategically while managing hands-on commercial execution
