SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Commercial Sales Consultant for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Minimum of Sales & Marketing Diploma / Degree
3+ years relevant experience – fuel industry preferable
Valid driver’s license (willing to travel extensively) and excellent communication skills in English / Xhosa
Must have good computer literacy and HES legislation knowledge

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Achieving planned sales of area, profitability, and cost targets to budgets – preparation of budget and develop plans to achieve targets; drive awareness; forecasting; market segmentation analysis and penetration; coordinating all aspects of deal execution process; identify new opportunities; maintain opportunity pipeline
Existing business : maintenance of commercial key accounts – develop account plans; assure key service levels are maintained; conduct performance reviews; review customer wet-stock and investigation / remediate any deviations; act as customer’s primary problem solver
Potential business : canvassing of commercial key accounts – develop customer pipeline; canvass customers; represent the company at events
Attain targets and profitability

Salary: Market related basic + 13th cheque, Provident, Medical and tools of trade
