POSITION INFO:

Our client, renowned organisation in the Sub-Saharan Southern African Talent Management Sector is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Commercial Sales General Manager to be based in their Johannesburg Offices.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• At minimum a B Degree in commerce / master’s in business administration (MBA).
• At least 10 - 15 Years’ Business Development experience in the industrial chemicals and water treatment industry.
• Extensive knowledge of B2B sales within the water/waste or energy industry.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Defining the annual Sales Budget and exceeding defined targets in line with the company''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s strategy
• Optimise bookings for the company, predominantly in South Africa and various counties in Southern Africa.
• Develop and optimize bid strategies and sales and marketing strategies.
• Regular feedback to the management team
• Lead, direct, and focus teams within business development, marketing and communications.
