SUMMARY:
A well-known global fertilizer company requires the above to be responsible for strategically driving the Business Unit supporting the growth and development of current and new products on an international basis.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Previous experience having worked in a Sales Management or related role is essential ideally within the Fertilizer / Agric or related markets is essential.
  • Previous experience having sold speciality products into Fertilizer and Agric and related markets is essential.
  • Tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science or Agronomy or Soil Science or related qualification is pref.
  • The successful candidate must be self-motivated able to operate independently and as part of a team.
  • The candidate must be organized and able to manage all aspects of their own Business Unit.
  • Must have the ability to develop and strategically drive business plans.
  • Previous experience working within an enhanced efficiency Fertilizer, Bio stimulants and Animal feeds markets is pref.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Manage, oversee and execute sales strategies into the fertiliser and Agric markets.
  • Identify market push opportunities from Suppliers
  • Drive sales efforts in ongoing markets through supply programs and existing trading activities.
  • Make recommendations to management team for planning, warehousing and stocking of products based on supply, demand and local pricing.
  • Monitor day-to-day developments in the global market and reacting timely and creative manner to take advantage of new opportunities.
  • Support and coordinate logistics with their internal shipping department with the aim to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Analyse risks, understand financials and recommend extensions of finance terms to customers.
  • Improve logistics and distribution efficiencies through understanding customer’s needs.
  • Present reports to senior management.
  • Manage and control the expense budget and product logistics.
  • Maintain and strengthen a large portfolio of clients.
  • Set targets and manage sales budgets.
  • Maximise revenue through establishing profitable sales plans and strategies.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor and control monthly expenses.
  • Conduct brand establishment with a well-focused marketing management plan.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
