SUMMARY:
Our Food Manufacturing client is seeking a Company Driver with a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe and professional driving. The role supports the business by safely transporting staff and goods while maintaining a positive company image through courteous conduct and well-kept vehicles.

The successful candidate will ensure the timely and efficient movement of employees and materials, assist with daily deliveries and collections, and maintain accurate records of vehicle use and maintenance.

The role requires reliable, punctual, and safety-focused driving to support smooth daily operations.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to transport employees, executives, and goods as assigned
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety protocols
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and ensure regular maintenance is completed
Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures
Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required
Provide courteous and professional customer service to passengers and clients
Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities
Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle issues to management promptly

Education and Experience

Grade 12 (Matric)
Valid unendorsed driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum 5 years driving experience as a Company Driver or in a similar role
Knowledge of local and national traffic laws and regulations
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repairs

Skills and Competencies

Excellent driving skills with a strong sense of responsibility
Good communication and interpersonal skills
