Vacancy: Company Engineer - Processing Plant (Rustenburg)Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee and manage plumbing and lifting systems maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety principles and regulations.
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to engineering maintenance and machinery performance.
- Assist in budgeting processes for maintenance projects and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and improve planned maintenance procedures.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and maintain safety standards within the processing plant.
- Create and present reports using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Proven knowledge and experience in preventive and planned maintenance, specifically in the context of processing plants.
- Strong understanding of machinery maintenance, plumbing systems, and lifting equipment.
Desired Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant experience in engineering maintenance within the processing industry. Considerable experience in managing maintenance and understanding key performance indicators is essential.
