SUMMARY:
Well established Law Firm in Pretoria East is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team
Salary offered between R30,000 and R45,000
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- Min 4 years’ experience in a Compliance and operations management-based role
- Knowledge of ICT (Information Management Technology) advantageous
- Knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations e.g. ISO 27001 and PCI (Payment Card Industry) advantageous
- Solid understanding of risk and compliance principles and frameworks
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience
- Develop and implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Design and implement internal systems to automate processes
- Develop an Onboarding and Offboarding system in line with legal requirements from our clients
- Oversee all business operations relating to compliance e.g. BBBEE, EE Skills Development, OHS regulations
- Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies
- Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements
- Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues
- Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies
- Perform periodic Audits and Management Review meetings on company procedures and processes
- Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance matters
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
