Our client, a global leader in the automotive sector, has an opportunity available for a Body Component Engineer to be based at their operations in Kariega.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

The release of body components (e.g. metal parts, seals, glass, bumpers, etc.)
Co-ordination of testing and release of components and systems, locally and at source
The resolution of design related problems on body components
Maintaining and updating the BOM (Bill of Material) system
Cost analysis of various components, systems and projects
Cost saving (PKO) initiation and investigations
Project management on new or changed systems and components
Good network in development and production

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Engineering
Minimum of 5 years proven relevant experience with automotive components
